FAQs
What is the minimum and maximum age for this tour?
Clipper is classed as a 'backpacker' boat and targets 18-35 year olds.
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Yes, you are allowed to bring your own alcohol. However you cannot bring glass or red wine.
Do you cater for vegans, gluten-free, lactose intolerant etc?
Yes, but there will be an extra cost of $20 per person.
How many dives can I do?
You can do only one scuba dive during your trip. There is space for 6 introductory dives and 6 certified dives per trip.
What do the dives cost?
Scuba diving on Atlantic Clipper costs $99 AUD per person. Please note that all scuba dives must be pre-booked.
How many people per room?
If you hire a private twin cabin or a private double cabin, that will be two people per room. If you have chosen the shared accommodation, you will be put in a cabin that sleeps between three to four guests.
Is the boat air-conditioned?
Yes, the cabins are all air-conditioned.
Is smoking allowed?
Yes but only in designated smoking areas.
Will I be able to charge my phone?
Yes, in the main saloon and in the cabins are charging points.
Are there hot showers on board?
Yes, there are 7 bathrooms and hot showers for use.

Very much a grand ol’ time. Friendly crew. Lauren’s food is amazing. She’s a veggie queen. Big Ben is solid gold. Lil Ben & Jake also legends. The snorkelling on the barrier reef was beautiful, we had plenty of time to stay out there and explore, but you have the option to stay on the boat and have a shorter snorkel if you prefer. Lots of fun swim time, slides off the boat and a jump station - wicked! The cabins are cosy, but nice. The Clipper is obviously well looked after and spacious. We played a couple of games on the second night which was really fun. I think intro games on the first night especially for the solo travellers would be something to consider. Whitehaven beach such a highlight. We swam with stingrays - the absolute dream. Overall, an amazing couple of days. One of the best things I’ve done so far! (Originally posted on Tripadvisor)
