Explore the World Heritage-Listed Kgari (Fraser Island) on this epic tag-along and camping tour! Spend two amazing nights camping at the Cathedrals private campsite, immersed in the mystical rainforests of K’gari.
During the day, get ready to tackle all the excitement of the world’s largest sand island! Try your hand at driving a 4WD on the infamous 75 Mile Beach, take a dip in Eli Creek, and visit many more unique K’gari attractions.
Day 1Start your day by soaking in the coastal views at 75 Mile Beach! Then head inland towards the breathtaking Lake McKenzie, one of Australia's most famous sights. Go for a dip in the sapphire blue waters and rub your toes in the silky white sand. After a yummy lunch, head over to Central Station and admire the colossal trees of the dense rainforest. Go on a short bushwalk if you want, and finish your day relaxing at Eurong Beach Resort before turning in for the night. |
|
Day 2Head up to the north of the island to admire the views from Indian Head Lookout. Be on the lookout for migrating whales in the winter months! Then make your way to the nearby rock pools known as Champagne Pools for a dip in the salt water. Next, you’ll visit the famous Maheno Shipwreck! Take some cool photos of this giant shipwreck on the beach, and then have the chance to float in the calm, crystal-clear waters of Eli Creek. |
|
Day 3Today’s destination is the mindblowing Lake Wabby! This top K’gari attraction is a freshwater lake situated next to the Hammerstone Sand Blow. Embark on a leisurely stroll over the golden sand dunes and go for a swim in K’gari’s deepest lake. This is your last adventure on K'gari, so be sure to cherish every moment. Then have lunch and get ready to depart K’gari! |
|
CampingCamping is the best way to experience the natural beauty of K’gari! Pippie’s private Cathedrals campsite is the ultimate combination of modern amenities and wilderness. Complete with a dingo-proof fence, full toilets, hot showers, cozy tents, and covered dining and kitchen areas, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay amongst the towering trees on K’gari. Relax with a good book or join in on a social experience, either way, camping here is an incredible way to refresh and gather your energy for exploring K'gari! |
|
Driving a 4WDA tag-along tour means you will have the opportunity to drive one of the provided 4WD vehicles on K’gari! Take to the Sand Highway, also known as 75 Mile Beach, and have a blast driving on the world’s largest sand island. Your experienced local guides will provide safety briefings to ensure you feel confident! And if you don't want to drive, there is no obligation to, so no worries! |

Great few days, Cory and Wozza were great and food/camp site were good too. Would have been good maybe to set up a few more games/"organised fun" on the beach potentially in the afternoons as wasn't much to do when returning to the campsite already at 4pm

Absolutely amazing tour, Corey was great. Jam packed days with lots of exploring of the island and being able to drive the 4x4 yourself is an excellent addition. Always stuff to be doing, camp was great with kitchen and camping facilities already set up. Absolute must do when in Australia

Really fun experience, highly recommend to anybody! Food was amazing and nobody ever went hungry. Would’ve been better if we had left on time and not lost out on time at Lake McKenzie, as it was the most beautiful place on the Island!
Had a ton of fun on this trip! Jaime was an awesome guide and was so fun to have as the lead on this trip! Highly recommend for those looking for an authentic Australian experience.
