Brisbane beckons!

Be welcomed into Brisbane (meanjin), the sunny capital of Queensland, with easy airport transport to your central city hostel accommodation. Sleep off that jetlag, and meet the rest of your travel group and your enigmatic guide! Spend the days being guided through the vibrant Brisbane City, swimming and sunbaking in Streets Beach and meandering along the river; there are endless things to do! Brissy has excellent nightlife, so hit Fortitude Valley for a night out with your new mates, or opt for a lowkey stay to get in the groove of Australia!

Day 3 - 7

Noosa & K'gari (Fraser Island) beach living

Make the short journey north from Brisbane to the incredible Noosa, where rolling beaches and your hostel await! On day 4, catch the barge out to K’gari (formerly Fraser Island), where your 3-day, 2-night island 4WD tour awaits! Get behind the wheel, drive down golden shores, camp by the beach, spot dingoes, walk through ancient rainforests and… swim! With countless freshwater lakes (Lake Mackenzie and Lake Wabby to name a few), fairy rock pools and clear streams, float away and discover the wonders of K’gari, guided by a local. Return to Noosa for more National Park exploring, beach sunbaking and surfer spotting!

Your 2-day, 2-night sailing adventure will take you to all corners of the stunning Whitsunday Island group, where you will swim with turtles in the Great Barrier Reef, SUP over glassy oceans, relax onboard your social vessel, and soak up the tropics! Venture to Whitehaven Beach for some of the world’s whitest sands and Hill Inlet for killer views… this is truly paradise! Explore Airlie with ample things to do, and dance the nights away with other Working Holidaymakers!

From one tropical haven to the next, head north to Magnetic Island and hop on the connecting ferry where golden shores and koalas in trees are waiting to say g’day! Your accommodation is an idyllic beachfront hut, so spend your time swimming, chilling and venturing all over the island - your group leader will guide you along the incredible coastal Forts Walk!

Arrive in the hidden gem Mission Beach before taking to the skies and free, free fallin’! One of the best locations to skydive in Australia, jump from 15000ft and land with feet in soft sand. You’re in for some of the most breathtaking coastal views as you tick off “tandem skydiving” from your bucket list and get some amazing footage to remember the feeling!

Wrap your adventure up with a generous stint in tropical FNQ! Cairns is a simply unmissable stop on your Aussie trip, in particular, the colourful reefs and biodiverse marinelife! With a day trip out to two unique reef locations, explore the underwater wonderlands renowned in this region. Next, head inland to the lush Atherton Tablelands, stopping at gems like Millaa Millaa Falls. Be mesmerised by the rich rainforest landscapes, fairy-like cascades and local history.
