Please read our terms, conditions and cancellation policies before booking your East Coast itinerary package.
Nope! You can book optional extras like surfing, skydiving, or Everglades kayaking once you're on the trip. You'll be able to lock them in as you go, depending on availability.
Some meals are included, but only during specific organised tours. For example, your K’gari camping trip, Whitsundays sailing, the Atherton Tablelands tour, and Great Barrier Reef day tour all include meals. Outside of those experiences, you’ll need to cover your own food.
Not exactly! This is a semi-guided tour, meaning you’ll travel with a flexible itinerary, set accommodation and transport, and some awesome group experiences - but you’re free to explore independently between activities.
You’ll likely meet other travellers along the way, especially during the K’gari, Whitsundays, and Cairns tours. While it’s not a fixed group the whole time, many people end up travelling in small crews they meet on the trip.
You'll stay in social, backpacker-friendly hostels for 16 night of the trip. Dorm rooms are standard, but you can often upgrade to private rooms (subject to availability).
The remaining nights will be spent either camping on K'gari or sleeping on a sailing vessel in the Whitsundays.
Absolutely! This tour is perfect for solo travellers looking to meet people, enjoy social experiences, and still have a bit of freedom. Many people travel solo and leave with lifelong mates.
Yes! All bus and ferry transport is included, including overnight coaches between major stops and the ferry to Magnetic Island.
