Day 1: Travel from Melbourne to Port CampbellThe epic 2-day Great Ocean Road and Otway National Park adventure begins with pick-up at the designated locations in the Melbourne CBD. Board the comfortable mini bus and head west out towards Port Campbell! You'll drive through ancient lava fields and see fascinating natural landmarks, including Australia's most recently extinct volcano near Tower Hill. Explore the charming rural coastal town of Warrnambool and take a guided walk with Worn Gundidj elders. Here you'll get to learn about indigenous Australian traditions, immerse yourself in nature, and hopefully spot some wildlife! |

Great Ocean Road without the crowds!Next you'll head towards the coast and start your exploration of the iconic Great Ocean Road. The tour starts along the Shipwreck Coast, where you can admire the Bay of Islands and check out the unique rock formations such as The Grotto and London Bridge. Starting the Great Ocean Road tour at the most western point means you're covering the route backwards and escaping the crowds! In the evening, meander through the quaint village of Port Campbell, sample local beers and food at Sow & Piglets Brewery, and watch the sunset at the stunning 12 Apostles. StaySow and Piglets Guest House or similar (either private rooms or 6-8 bed shared accommodation, all rooms use shared bathroom facilities). |

Day 2: Venture from Port Campbell back to MelbourneRise and shine on Day 2 for more adventures along the Great Ocean Road! With an early start, you'll get to enjoy the most beautiful and famous locations before the midday crowds arrive.
