Day 1 

Welcome to Bangkok!

Be welcomed at the airport with transfers all sorted! You will be driven to you to your lodgings in the vibrant Khao San Road area, a hotspot for travellers. Join your travel group, meet your travel guide and get excited for the fantastic adventure ahead!

Day 2

Bangkok Temples & Floating Markets

Experience Bangkok from a different angle this morning as you explore the city’s legendary canals (“klongs”), taking in the floating markets and local ways of life. You'll then visit some of the city’s most sacred and famous temples, traveling by tuk tuk through the bustling and vibrant streets for an authentic and thrilling day out!

Bangkok Cooking Class

Can’t get enough of Thai curries? Learn the skills to cook your very own Thai food this morning with a cooking class. Flavours, fragrances, a feast and fun moments are abound!  Later, board an overnight train with fully reclining beds, ready to carry you south to your island dreams.

Day 4

Khao Sok National Park Caves & Boat

Arrive in Khao Sok this morning, where breathtaking vistas, calm waters and lush verdant island grace your sights at every turn! Dive right into it as you venture around the limestone cliffs on a traditional long-tail boat, arriving at your floating bungalow in the enchanting Khao Sok National Park. Spend the rest of the day kayaking, tubing, and spotting monkeys in this breathtaking setting.

Day 5 - 9

Koh Phangan Dreaming!

Day 5 brings you to the enchanting Koh Phangan, renowned for its vibrant full moon parties and quiet, gorgeous beaches. Check into your exclusive beachside bungalows featuring infinity pools, gyms, and yoga spaces. Day 6 offers a day of relaxation, whether lounging on the beach, exploring the island, or enjoying a traditional Thai massage, relax, unwind and holiday it up! Venture to hidden gems and secluded beaches on day 7, capped off with a delightful beach BBQ with your group. Day 8 is up to you, with the option to try out a Muay Thai boxing class or opt for a calming private yoga session, followed by a lively evening with your travel companions. Who is this trip suited for?

This is a backpacker-style trip, perfect for those looking for a social and adventurous trip across Thailand. You will be staying in clean, hand-picked 2 to 3-star budget hotels and bungalows. There is a moderate level of fitness required for this trip due to activities like kayaking, walking, boxing and the likes.

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is compulsory for this trip and you will need to provide proof of your policy to your group leader upon arrival (on your phone or printed). 

Do I need to complete a waiver?

All travellers must complete this medical form and participation waiver prior to travel, as soon as possible after booking.

Are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and allergies catered for?

Due to the nature of this tour (frequenting street markets and local restaurants), strict gluten-free, vegan and allergen diets can be difficult to cater for. However, delicious vegetarian cuisine is abundant in Thailand, and your group leader will do their best to provide suitable options for you. Please let us know if you have any dietaries before the trip begins.

How will I get around?

Throughout the tour, you will catch tuk tuks, buses, trains, coaches, ferries and long-tail boats. There is an array of private and public transport including one overnight sleeper train in a multi-share cabin.

Where will I stay?

You will be staying in 2 to 3-star hotels, guesthouses and bungalows, in shared rooms. Let us know if you're travelling with friends or a partner so you can bunk together!

When should I book my flight to arrive?

It’s best to arrive on the actual start date of your trip, as there are no activities on the first day other than the welcome dinner in the evening. Please chat to us if you would like to extend your trip and arrive before the tour begins for some solo travel time!

Do I need a visa for Thailand?

Yes, travellers are required to apply for a Thai tourist visa before their trip. Please note, that visa requirements and eligibility vary depending on where you're from, and where you're going. It’s your responsibility to check the visa and entry requirements for the country/s you will be travelling to, and to hold an approved, valid visa for the duration of your trip.

How much spending money should I bring?

All your activities, transport, accommodation and some meals are included in this trip, so any extra spending money should be minimal and used for extra meals, drinks, shopping and onward travel.

What will the group be like?

Intro groups usually have around 12 to 16 people in them, mostly aged between 18 to early 40s. People from all over the world join these small group tours, meaning you'll have a blast with other adventurous, travelling souls in the most beautiful parts of Thailand!
