Your adventure takes place at Kangaroo Point, a beautiful section of downtown Brisbane located right on the river. Meet the team at the Riverlife Adventure Center at Naval Stores, Kangaroo Point Cliffs Drive and get situated with all your gear. Then head over to the cliffs to begin your exciting abseiling lesson! |

Safety Briefing
Travel to the top of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and take part in a detailed safety briefing. This is where the knowledgeable guides will teach you how to abseil and demonstrate how to use the equipment. They will ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe before taking on the abseiling adventure. Remember to soak in the views atop the cliffs as you make your way down! |

Abseil down the Kangaroo Point CliffsIt's time for the fun part! Try abseiling down the rugged cliffs, enjoying the marvellous views along the way. The guides atop the mountain will do all the heavy lifting and ensure your ropes and harness are secure. What is abseiling?
Abseiling is a controlled descent over any type of drop, such as a cliff, waterfall, or mountain. It's also called rappelling, and involves controlled movement as you make your way down a cliff. Your guides can provide more info and instruction on your tour!
How long is the tour?
Your Brisbane Riverside Abseiling lasts for 90 minutes.
Is there a minimum age?
The minimum age for abseiling is 8 years old. Kids aged 8-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any weight or height restrictions?
There are no height restrictions for this activity. Maximum weight for this activity is 120kg. Our maximum harness circumference is 47 inches.
What should I wear for abseiling?
Wear comfortable pants that move easily. Activewear is ideal, and please wear close-toed shoes as well. There are showers and change rooms onsite for your convenience.
Do I need any previous experience?
Not at all, the qualified instructors are there to teach you how to abseil and ensure you feel safe and confident the entire time.
Where do we meet for the tour?
Meet at the Riverlife Adventure Centre, located at Naval Stores Kangaroo Point Cliffs Drive, Kangaroo Point QLD 4169.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring closed-in shoes, a water bottle, and wear comfortable activewear!
