Driving Your Own 4WD

This tag-along camping safari gives you the chance to try your hand at driving on K'gari (Fraser Island)! If you're 21 years old or above, you can sign up to be a driver. With the tour guide leading the way in their own 4WD, the other 4WDs will follow behind in a convoy. So this is a safe and secure way to try four wheel driving on the world's largest sand island! You can also just be a passenger if you wish.

Visit Lakes and Creeks

The exact itinerary varies for your trip to K'gari because of the tide times. But you'll have time to visit some of the most stunning bodies of water on the island. Take in the vibrant white silica sands and turquoise hue of Lake McKenzie, dive into the refreshing emerald waters of Lake Wabby, and cool off in the gentle current of Eli Creek. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming out in nature on K'gari, and feel free to bring your own inflatables for the trip!

Coastal Wonders

You'll also visit plenty of the coastal highlights on K'gari (Fraser Island). Head to the north of the island to go for a dip in the bubbling rock pools known as Champagne Pools. This is the only place where you can safely swim in the ocean on K'gari because the rocks protect against the currents! And keep your eyes peeled for the fascinating Maheno Shipwreck, a historic landmark that is a crowd favourite on K'gari.
