Meet in Brisbane CBD at 8:30amWherever you're staying in Brisbane, head down to the Cultural Centre Pontoon where your river cruise will depart. The pontoon is located on the boardwalk in front of the Queensland State Library, conveniently situated in Brisbane's Southbank District. Meet here around 8:30am and board the Mirimar II, a spacious, modern catamaran equipped with a snack bar and toilets onboard. At 9am the boat departs for Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! |

Cruise along the Brisbane RiverFrom 9am, the Mirimar II will glide along the Brisbane River for just over an hour. Your knowledgeable local captain will provide insightful commentary and fun facts about the area. This is an amazing way to sightsee in Brisbane! You'll get a new perspective of the city's iconic landmarks, eventually heading further out of the CBD and seeing more greenery. Cruise through the suburbs and see how the scenery changes as you enter the outskirts of Brisbane. Around 10:15am you'll arrive at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. |

Admire the koalas at Lone Pine Koala SanctuaryYour tour includes an entry ticket to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, which is known as the largest and oldest koala sanctuary in the world! Home to over 130 koalas, this incredible place does amazing work with its conservation efforts for the species. Here you can learn all about these fuzzy marsupials and watch them sleep, eat, and play in their natural habitat. You can also book koala encounters, including patting and holding koalas. These experiences are bookable upon arrival at Lone Pine, though they are subject to availability. |

Mingle with other Aussie animalsLone Pine Koala Sanctuary is home to lots of other unique animals besides koalas. With 3 hours to spend here, you'll have plenty of time to see all the wildlife and even watch a demonstration or presentation. Join a Flight Raptor show and learn about local birds such as eagles and owls, watch an impressive sheepdog show, or visit the Platypus House in the hopes of spotting one of these elusive creatures. Lone Pine is also home to over 100 kangaroos and wallabies, and you can help out with the feeding. Return to the boat at 1:30pm and cruise back along the Brisbane River, returning to the Cultural Centre Pontoon at 2:45pm. |
