I booked the Magnetic Island Escape Package for myself and my friend as a weekend away for her birthday and I'm so glad I did! The stress was completely taken away from booking everything individually and it was all done as one single package! We just arrived at the Ferry Terminal in Townsville, told the lady our names and she provided us with our return ferry tickets. We then arrived at Nomads which is in an absolutely stunning location - right on Nelly Bay (Perfect for Sunrise by the way!). When we arrived, Kevin, the manager checked us in instantly and gave us a $12 voucher for Breakfast and a $15 voucher for Dinner as well as a lovely welcome drink! We were then taken to our room which was a 6 bed mixed dorm with a view of the ocean, one of the best hostel locations i have ever stayed in and i have stayed in many! The hostel has a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean and has a large communal area with beanbags and a HUGE bar! They run events every night such as bingo, raffles and karaoke. We had so much fun this weekend and the hostel were happy to help us hire a car and gave us ideas of things to do around the island! The hassle was taken away by booking this package and it was so easy to book with a click of a button and everything was done for you! I would recommend booking this package to any backpacker who is planning to visit magnetic island or even anyone looking at booking for the weekend like we did. 10/10!
