I had a very nice time on the boat. Beds are comfortable and staff are friendly. SCUBA diving is very good. Great locations with lots of wildlife. The night dive is a great way to see lots of sharks.

The best thing I did in Cairns, absolutely loved the night dive. The boat is nice and well maintained, the food is nice, and the crew are excellent. Most importantly, the diving is really good with lots of fish and coral, and loads of little nudibranchs.

My first liveaboard and I loved it. All te diving was great but the night dive took it to another level. Rented a gopro and underwater torches for the night dive and spent the dive surrounded by sharks and trevally. One of the best dives I've ever done!

What a great diving holiday, I saw so much and recommend 100%
I did a liveaboard (2 days, 1 night) on OceanQuest and it was fantastic! I did 6 (!) dives in 2 days, including their sharks in the dark experience, which was incredible. I felt very safe and taken care of at all times. They take you out on one boat and you do two dives/ snorkels/ intro dives on that boat if you wish. Then you transfer to the overnight boat and do an afternoon and evening session. I also really liked that there were options throughout the whole experience - you could stay on the boat, snorkel, dive with a guide or dive with a buddy. There were probably 30 ish people on the overnight boat, which was a good size to keep meeting new people but not be overwhelmed by too many people all getting ready at once. Rooms were standard but comfortable and clean. And I cannot overstate the hot fresh water showers!! The food was also great and they were able to cater to dietary restrictions (gluten free for me - even a GF brownie for dessert!). The crew was great, I felt safe the whole time, and the dives were fantastic. Highly recommend!
