Please read our terms, conditions and cancellation policies before booking your East Coast itinerary package.
Yes, travel insurance is compulsory for all One Life Adventures tours. You must book this on your own before the tour departs.
Fly into Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).
The Philippines has a tropical climate, so pack accordingly and focus on comfortable layers! Sun protection, swimwear, sunglasses, and a camera are recommended. For footwear, sandals and a pair of sneakers/running shoes will be fine.
Try to pack as light as possible! We are moving around every few days, so the lighter your bags, the better. A backpack or small suitcase is ideal. Please note that there is a 20kg limit on checked luggage on our domestic flight from Manila to Palawan. If you need to add extra luggage at the airport you can do so but it can be very costly. Try to keep your luggage under 20kg!
You’ll get to experience a variety of accommodations on this adventure, including hostels, boutique hotels, cottages, and beach campsites. Most rooms are for a maximum of 4 guests, though you can upgrade to a twin share or single room (select this option at checkout).
Throughout your 10-day tour, 9 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 2 dinners are included. Other meals are at your own expense. Dietary restrictions can be catered for if you let us know in advance!
All transport is included in the tour throughout the 10 days. You’ll get around on Jeepneys, Filipino trikes, buses, boats, and more! There is also an included flight from Manila down to the Palawan Islands.
The tour finishes in El Nido on Day 10. You can either fly directly out of El Nido with the airline Air Swift. Otherwise, we do cover your public transportation back to Puerto Princesa which is a 6 hour journey. If you would like to fly from Puerto, please make sure that you have booked a flight after 3pm, so that we can get you there in time for check in.
We recommend a minimum of $300 AUD for the full ten days, but actual spending amounts will vary from person to person. You can withdraw cash from ATMs at various points throughout the tour, but we recommend withdrawing plenty of cash in Manila since you cannot rely on the ATMs in Palawan. We’ll also provide a spending guide in your welcome pack for reference!
This tour is suitable for travellers ages 18-45 years. It’s a fun, adventurous and active tour perfect for those who are open-minded, social, and young at heart!
