SEOUL

Welcome to South Korea

Kick off your adventure by landing in the heart of Seoul’s vibrant Myeongdong district. Drop your bags, meet your crew, and dive straight into Korean culture with a welcome dinner. After feasting, take in the dazzling views from Namsan Mountain, watching the city come alive under the night sky. It’s just the beginning of an unforgettable trip!

SEOUL

K-Pop, Hongdae & Hapjeong

Get ready for some excellent vibes today, with a K-pop dance class in the trendy Hapjeong district straight up! After learning some moves, explore the funky streets of Hongdae. Head to the colourful HiKR, and make your own K-pop dance video. End the day in Itaewon with dinner and drinks in one of Seoul’s hottest nightlife spots.

SEOUL

DMZ Visit & Local History

Take a trip to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and peek into the past with a rich historical experience. Gaze out over the border of North and South Korea, explore infiltration tunnels and engage in a cultural exchange with a North Korean defector. After soaking in the unique experience, return to Seoul for another delicious dinner with your crew.

Explore the rich history of Seoul with visits to Gyeongbokgung Palace and the charming Hanok Village. JEONJU

Local Adventures & Tastings

The day begins with peaceful morning chanting and a healthy Buddhist breakfast before departing from the serene temple retreat in the mountains. The journey continues to the quaint city of Jeonju, renowned for its incredible cuisine and well-preserved traditional village. After checking into a charming Hanok guesthouse, the afternoon is yours to spend exploring. In the evening, enjoy a Makgeolli tasting session, learning about this famous rice wine and sampling various types. For those wanting more, head to Makgeolli Alley for drinks and delicious 'anju,’ which are special tapas-style dishes meant to accompany the local rice wine!

GYEONGJU

Museum, Bike Ride & Pond Sunset

Next stop: the ancient wonder of Gyeongju! Known as the "Museum Without Walls," this place is packed with epic UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancient temples, and royal tombs that tell stories from centuries past. Once we settle in, it’s time to hop on bikes and cruise through this stunning town, checking out historic landmarks, burial mounds, and some jaw-dropping scenery. As the day winds down, head to Anapji Pond for a seriously Insta-worthy moment as you watch the beautiful reflections light up the water at sunset. This is a day of history and beauty you won’t forget!

GYEONGJU

Bulguska Temple & Taekwondo

Another day of exploring Gyeongju begins with a visit to Bulguksa, one of the most renowned temples in South Korea. Surrounded by lush forests and scenic landscapes, this ancient temple is a stunning blend of history, architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. After some downtime, the adventure continues with a visit to a Dojang for a Taekwondo session. Master the art of high-flying kicks and swift punches taught by experienced professionals. The day wraps up with an evening spent enjoying the local bars and restaurants in Gyeongju's charming old town.

BUSAN

Market, Cable Car Views, Bathhouse & Karaoke

The journey continues to Busan, a beautiful coastal city framed by beaches and mountains. After settling in downtown, explore the bustling Jagalchi Market and vibrant shopping districts. Next, take a ride on the Songdo cable car for panoramic views of the city and coastline. The afternoon offers the freedom to explore Gamcheon Cultural Village or relax in a traditional jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse). The final night wraps up in classic Busan style, singing the night away in a lively karaoke room in one of the city's colourful nightlife districts. A perfect send-off to an unforgettable adventure!

Farewell

Enjoy a last breakfast with your group before you say goodbyes, swap Instagram handles and go your own way! The memories you made, the sights you discovered, and the friends you’ve met are bound to stick with you forever (not to mention your camera roll laden with amazing photos!). Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is compulsory for this trip and you will need to provide proof of your policy to your group leader upon arrival (on your phone or printed).

 
What is the age range for this trip?

The tours are designed for ages 18-45, with most travellers between 21-35. Designed to embrace the fun "flashpacking" vibe and connect with awesome, like-minded people from all over. Perfect for sharing unforgettable experiences!

Where should I fly into?

Incheon International Airport (ICN).

Will I be picked up from the airport?

While airport transfers aren’t available, Korea boasts one of the world’s top rail networks. You'll receive detailed instructions to easily navigate from the airport to your starting accommodation.

How much luggage should I bring?

It's best to keep your luggage under 15kg, and we recommend using a backpack instead of a suitcase will make your journey much easier during certain commutes.

Are there vegetarian and vegan options?

We aim to accommodate all dietary needs, but vegan options in South Korea are very limited. Please get in touch with us regarding any specific allergies and dietary requirements.

Is there Wifi during the trip?

The lodgings are mixture of multi share and twin accommodations throughout. You will be paired with someone of the same sex. Twin and single upgrades are available, just get in touch!
