Yes you must have strong competent swimming ability as Tully River has grade 3 and 4 rapids.

A good understanding of the English language is needed to participate in the Tully River Rafting tour. This is for your safety to be able to communicate with your river guide effectively.
Where does this tour depart from?
The Full Day Tully River Rafting tour includes return transfers from Cairns and Mission beach to Tully Gorge, with the option to self drive if you have your own transport. Please advise where you are staying at the time of booking for pick up and drop off location.
What time does this tour depart and finish?
Pick ups for the full day Tully River Rafting start from 10am in Cairns and return around 9:30pm.

This was one of the best days of my East Coast trip! So much fun to raft down the Tully river in beautiful scenery. It was a great day, jam packed and finished with a delicious dinner at the pub with everyone we were rafting with during the day. Highly recommend!
