River rafting on the Tully River gives you that perfect hit of adrenaline, yet it’s still suitable for travelers with no prior experience. You’ll have a blast rafting down these grade 3 and 4 river rapids with your local guide. Ride through the rapids, let loose, and have fun!

Your Sample Itinerary

	Pick Up From Cairns Get picked up from your hostel or hotel in the Cairns CBD and get ready for an epic day! Mission Beach pick ups are also an option, or you can drive yourself for a reduced price. Choose between the Tully Classic itinerary, which departs Cairns at 6am and returns at 6pm, or the Tully Rafting itinerary, which departs Cairns at 10am and returns at 10pm.
	Get Ready To Ride Once you arrive at the powerful and beautiful Tully River, get fitted with all your gear! Helmets and lifejackets and provided, and you can rent shoes for $5. If you don’t want to rent shoes, make sure you wear secure footwear that won’t get lost on the river! Meet your friendly and experienced local guides, learn the instructions and safety measures, then hop into your rafts and get ready to ride!
	Tully River Rafting Spend the next few hours adventuring through the rainforest on this exciting Tully River rafting adventure! The river rapids are a combination of grade 3 and 4, so you’ll get to enjoy a challenge and feel your heart pumping but you won’t be in any danger. Your guides will ensure you stay safe the whole time! Bask in the gorgeous natural beauty and have a blast on this fun outdoor activity.
	Lunch Or Dinner Included Don’t worry, you won’t go hungry on your big day of river rafting. Either lunch or dinner is included in your tour, depending on which itinerary option you choose. The Tully Classic itinerary includes lunch, and the Tully Rafting itinerary includes dinner. You’ll also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and photos of your experience if you wish. After an adrenaline-filled day, you’ll be transferred back to Cairns (unless you opted to drive yourself).

Trying to tick of the trio of bungy, skydive and rafting. One down two to go. Loved it, so fun. Not quite as scary as I expected but so worth doing.
