Soar over the turquoise waters, rolling islands and Great Barrier Reef in Airlie Beach; one of the most spectacular places to tick skydiving off your bucket list. Your professional tandem buddy will jump with you, snapping incredible photos on your journey down.
This 15,000 ft dive is a seriously unforgettable once-on-a-lifetime experience, so soak it all up with 60 seconds of freefall and 5 to 7 minutes of gliding in the clouds! With the 8,000 ft skydive, you will freefall for about 5 seconds, with the same 5 to 7 minutes of panoramic skydiving under the canopy. The adrenaline and the panoramic island vistas will have you flying freer than a bird in the heart of the exquisite Whitsundays! 3, 2, 1... it's time to take the leap!

Get briefed and ready for the jump!Your team of professional skydivers will brief you on everything you need to know before you head up into the clouds! Your safety briefing will happen in the morning before your dive. Laugh, cry, scream, or be speechless - whatever your reaction it will amazing! You have 60 seconds of enthralling freefall (5 seconds of freefall with the 8,000ft jump), before the parachute releases. Important Information
- All persons must be able to present their full ticket upon arrival at the Skydive Australia office. This can be on your phone or a paper copy. Failure to present your ticket may result in a forfeit of your Skydive ticket (non-refundable).
- As per the Australian Parachute Federation, the minimum age for tandem skydiving is 16 yrs.
- If you are under the age of 18, you are required to complete the Indemnity Form. Please contact Skydive Australia on 1300 663 634 for details.
- All persons are subject to a Tandem Master assessment. You MUST weigh less than 110kg in Airlie Beach. Any client weighing 94kg or more must notify us at the time of booking, weight surcharges may apply which can be paid on-site.

FAQs
Should I do the 8,000ft or the 15,000ft jump?
We recommend the 15000ft skydive to make the absolute most out of your experience. With the 15000ft skydive, you get the thrill of freefall at over 200km/hr for up to 60 seconds, with the 8000ft skydive you will freefall for approximately 5 seconds.
With the 15000ft, you also enjoy a longer scenic flight over the Whitsundays, viewing more of the stunning islands and ocean surrounds. If you are a first-time jumper, feeling a little hesitant, or on a tighter budget and would like to opt for the 8000ft option, it is still an incredible experience. However, if it's a fear thing, keep in mind that whether you are 8000ft or 15000ft above the ground, the feeling of jumping out of a plane is still essentially the same, it's just the freefall time that varies between the two heights.
With both Skydive options, once the parachute is released you will enjoy floating under the canopy for 5-7 minutes soaking up the spectacular views from above. If you are not sure which height is best for you, ask our friendly sales team in the chat window.
What are the weight restrictions and surcharges?
You MUST weigh less than 110kg in Airlie Beach. Any client weighing 94kg or more must be assessed by our Tandem Master on site to determine safety.
Weight surcharges are as follows:
94kg – 104kgs = $50.00 AUD
105kg – 114kgs = $75.00 AUD*
115kgs and over = $100.00 AUD**
These prices are subject to change at any time.
Will I jump with another person?
Yes, you will be tandem skydiving, meaning a qualified, expert skydive master will be making the jump with you, guiding your jump and opening the chute for you!
How do I purchase video & photo packages?
Photo and video packages are available for purchase on the day of your dive (prices subject to change)

When is the best time of day to skydive?
We suggest jumping first thing in the morning when the weather and visibility is often at its best! Be sure to allow yourself 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish.
Do I need any qualifications to jump?
Once you arrive at the airport, you'll be asked to complete the necessary paperwork and be issued with a compulsory student permit to jump. However, this experience is perfect for first-time skydivers, and so long as you pass the tandem master's health and weight assessment, you're good to go!
