MondayWelcome to Surf CampCatch the free shuttle from Kiama to your Surf Camp, where your surf adventure awaits! Meet your group and friendly surf instructors, before digging into a delicious lunch after the journey. Don’t waste a moment as you head straight for the beach where you will have your introductory lesson. Wetsuit up and grab your board, learn basic surf etiquette, technique, how to paddle and how to get on waves. After your day in the sun, head back to camp with a golden glow before a recap of your lesson with video footage! Day 2, 3 & 4 |
Tuesday, Wednesday, ThursdayCatch those wavesThe next three days ahead of you look pretty much like this: eat, surf, eat, surf, eat, sleep, repeat. Wake up and head to a smorgasbord of fresh breaky choices, where you can get the goodness you need for a fun day of surfing shenanigans! Hit the waves and use your newfound skills, while friendly instructors will guide you, give you tips and help you along the way. You will learn not only how to stand up, but how to drop in, trim, turn and understand the waves better. Head back to camp for a plentiful, wholesome lunch and chill out before another lesson. After your second lesson of the day, return to surf camp for a tasty, generous dinner to nourish you after a huge day! No matter what progress you made, celebrate your learning with new friends in paradise. Review personalised video footage in the evening to help you better your technique with the help of the pros, and if you’ve still got the energy you can head to the local pub for a few beers over the sunset! FridayOne final surf & check-outYour fifth and final day will be welcomed by your last tasty breaky at Surf Camp, before packing up and heading to the beach for a final surf. Apply the culmination of tips, tricks, skills and abilities you’ve picked up along the way to catch the ultimate waves. Well done you, you’re now a surfer for life! Return to camp for one last lunch, accompanied by plenty of laughs from your new mates. Check out and catch the shuttle back to Kiama, before continuing onto your next East Coast adventure! |
