FAQs
Can I bring children on Whitsunday Adventurer?
You can bring children on this trip however the minimum age is 6 years. Children ages 6-15 years must be booked into a private cabin. Anyone ages 16+ can be booked into an open single.
On request and family of four may be able to book in the open shared area.
Children travel on this tour at full adult rates. Please advise any child ages at the time of booking.
Can I smoke on board?
Yes you will be permitted to smoke on board, however only in designated areas or when instructed by the crew.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Please note passengers with any dietary requirements (vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free etc.) will need to pay a surcharge of $20 per person payable on check in. This does not include vegetarians. Please enquire upon booking if unsure.
Can I go diving?
Diving is not offered on Whitsunday Adventure, however snorkelling is!
Is snorkelling equipment provided?
Yes, snorkelling gear will be provided for you to use.
Where can I store luggage that I don't want to take on board?
You can store excess luggage at our Airlie Beach Bag Storage on the main street of Airlie for a small fee.
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Yes you can bring your own alcohol, but glass is not allowed. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Is there air conditioning on Whitsunday Adventurer?
No, there is no air conditioning on board this vessel, however there are fans in each room.

Whitsunday Adventurer departs from the North End of Coral Sea Marina (near Sorrentos)

Everything about this sailing trip was exceptional! The food was yummy, our time on whiteheaven beach was perfect, the snorkelling was fantastic, and just sailing around the islands was breathtaking. Highly recommend - surely the best way to visit the whitsundays. Thanks Jamie and Nicole!

Our sailing tour was wonderful. The kids had a great time and the boat was comfortable and large enough for all 12 of us on board. The snorkeling was fabulous, the staff was attentive and the food was great. A really nice experience for us.

Sailing itself was a pleasure, crew was very friendly. I find the amount of activities for 2D2N setup a bit disappointing, was hoping for much more than received. Booking and check-in system is also very confusing, requires A LOT of attention from the customer side. This should be simplified.

Hugo & Caitlyn were fantastic hosts, everything was fabulous. So laid back, great crew & great guests. We managed to fit in everything we wanted to do without being rushed. Accommodation on board was excellent & food outstanding. Fridge for the beer. Highly recommend.

A wonderful sailing trip that our whole family enjoyed. The crew were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling and paddleboarding through the different parts of the Whitsundays. It was a great way to enjoy and experience all the beauty that the Whitsundays has to offer.

Unfortunately, the tour was cancelled by the tour operator (not by Sailing Whitsundays) very last minute. We were very sad about this as the cruise was one of the reasons we came to Queensland. However, the Sailing Whitsundays staff was nothing but helpful and did everything possible. Thank you!

From sunrises to sunsets, stargazing to paddle boarding, sailing to snorkeling, we had the most unforgettable 2 days on the Adventurer! Well maintained boat and our private cabin was surprisingly spacious and super friendly crew making sure we had the best time!
