Delve into the sights, history and must-dos of Sydney with your group today as you explore to your heart's content. If you’re tossing up moving to Sydney, this is a great chance to see how you and the city gel. Your guide will help you out with some invaluable Aussie travel tips, before you don your nicest shirt and hit the town. Sydney is renowned for its epic nightlife, so get amongst the good vibes in Australia’s finest city!

Bondi Beach, BBQ & beers

The three quintessential Sydney B’s: Bondi Beach, a BBQ and beers! Today you’re heading to the famous Bondi Beach, where you will do the lush Coogee Coastal Walk led by your local guide. After the walk, reward yourself with a beachside BBQ with a cold beer under the sunshine! This is the pinnacle of an Aussie “arvo,” so hang out with your mates and unwind. Afterwards, return to your hostel for a shower and freshen up before your overnight bus to Byron Bay.

Day 4

Wake up in paradise, or Byron Bay, the bohemian beach town renowned for its surf culture and laid-back vibes. Your guide will give you an array of suggestions, so you can spend the day at your own pace, strolling the many artisanal boutiques, grabbing a delicious brunch, catching some live music and soaking up some vitamin D at the beach!

Day 5

Yoga & surfing like a Byron local

Get amongst the waves with an inclusive surf lesson, covering board hire and an experienced local teacher. After a salty, cruisy time learning how to pop up (or refining your skills if you’re an experienced surfer), head to a relaxing yoga class. Stretch it all out and clear your mind with a natural, quintessential day in Byron!

Day 6

Catch one of the most magical sunrises you have ever seen over the Byron Bay lighthouse and cape. Your small group will mosey on from your hostel early, to watch the golden rays become day before the crowds trickle in. This beautiful sunrise will welcome your final day in Byron Bay.

Day 9

Bring on Brisbane!

Arrive in Brisbane for a fun, vibrant orientation of this small but colourful city. You will mosey along the Brisbane River (or the brown snake as the locals call it) to Southbank, where you will unwind at Street’s Beach, a huge, sparkling lagoon in the middle of the city! Head out to Fortitude Valley, which is super close to your hostel, for the best nightlife and music all in one lit-up location for a crazy night with friends.
