Depart from Brisbane

Join an incredible day trip to Tangalooma Wrecks in Moreton Bay from Brisbane! While many Moreton Bay tours depart from the coastal areas of Brisbane, this tour departs right from the CBD! Meet the crew at the Howard Smith Wharves, conveniently located in the heart of Brisbane. Check-in is at 10:15am with departure at 10:30am, meaning you can sleep in as well!

Cruise through Moreton Bay to Tangalooma Wrecks

After boarding the vessel, you'll cruise east along the Brisbane River and head out into Moreton Bay. The entire boat ride is around 90 minutes, and there are toilets onboard as well as a counter to purchase snacks and drinks. Moreton Bay is a beautiful part of Southern Queensland, so admire the coastal views as you travel towards your destination.

Arrive at Tangalooma Wrecks and go snorkelling

Around 12pm, you'll arrive at the magnificent Tangalooma Wrecks. This picturesque collection of shipwrecks scattered through the turquoise waters around Moreton Island is a snorkeller's paradise. Your tour guides will provide you with snorkelling gear and flotation devices if you need them, then it's time to hit the water! The shipwrecks have created the perfect playground for marine life, so enjoy exploring the unique fish species, coral reefs, and sea creatures underwater. You may even spot sea turtles, manta rays, or dolphins if you're lucky!

Return to Brisbane

Once you've had your fill of underwater exploration, hop back on the boat to dry off and relax. Lunch is included, and there is a fully stocked bar onboard if you want to treat yourself to a beverage or two. You'll depart from the Tangalooma Wrecks at 3pm and enjoy another scenic boat ride on the way back to Brisbane. Arrive back at the Howard Smith Wharves around 4:30pm.
