Taking just 13 minutes to get into the CBD from Sydney Airport, the Sydney Airport train is a smooth, quick and cheap way to leave the airport. The best train line to get into the city centre is the T2 Airport line which is Macarthur to City via Airport, which runs roughly once every ten minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends and public holidays. Operating between 6 am and 10 pm every weekday, buy your Opal Card at the Airport Station ticket booths and get travelling!

Another good option, yet a slightly more expensive option for getting out of Sydney Airport and into the action, is rideshare. Both Uber and DiDi are widely-used around Inner Sydney and can be both convenient and personalised options. A great option for those travelling in a group, as most apps offer a split fare tool, making your trip far more affordable and seamless!
Cost: ranges from $40 - $80 from Sydney Airport to Central Station. Busy peak periods often cause fares to surge.
Grab a ticket for a city shuttle bus to transport you and your crew right into the CBD. Offering both a one-way and return ticket, this can be a great option for heading directly to your accommodation.
