Word Of Mouth Referral Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the East Coast Tours Word of Mouth Referral Program ("Program"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Program. By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• East Coast Tours, Us, We: Refers to East Coast Tours, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, and agents.
• Customer: Any individual who books a tour with East Coast Tours.
• Referrer: A Customer who participates in the Program by referring friends, family, or fellow travellers to East Coast Tours.
• Referee: A friend, family member, or fellow traveller referred by the Referrer to book a tour with East Coast Tours.
• Booking: A confirmed reservation of a tour with East Coast Tours by a Referee.
• Referral Reward: The monetary or voucher incentive provided to the Referrer for a successful referral.
• Affiliate Account Portal: An online platform provided by East Coast Tours where Referrers can track their referrals, view their rewards, and cash out rewards.

2. Eligibility

Participation in the Program is open to all Customers who have booked a tour with East Coast Tours.

Employees and partners of East Coast Tours are not eligible to participate as Referrers.

Referees must be new customers to East Coast Tours. A new customer is defined as an individual who has never booked a tour with East Coast Tours before.

3. How to Participate

After booking a tour with East Coast Tours, the Customer becomes eligible to participate in the Program as a Referrer.

The Referrer must share their full name with their Referees to ensure that the Referee can mention the Referrer when booking their tour.

Referees must book a tour through East Coast Tours worth at least $500 AUD and mention the Referrer’s full name when booking via live chat, email, phone call or WhatsApp.

The Referrer will then earn a commission, and the Referee will receive a discount on their booking.

4. Referral Rewards

A Referral Reward is provided to the Referrer for each eligible booking made by a Referee worth at least $500 AUD (excluding taxes and fees).

Referral Rewards are determined as a dollar value. The value of the Referral Reward is determined by East Coast Tours and may vary based on the type of tour booked and the current promotional offers.

Referral Rewards can be redeemed as East Coast Tours vouchers or cashed out directly through the Affiliate Account Portal.

Referral Rewards are not transferable or exchangeable for any other form of credit or reward.

Referral Reward & Discount Guideline

Please note these values are subject to change at the discretion on East Coast Tours without notice. All values are in AUD and do not include fees or taxes.

A minimum spend of $500 applies.

5. Validity of Referrals

Some already discounted tours, including but not limited to price beat schemes, discount codes, flash sales, or any other affiliate programs, are not eligible for Referral Rewards or Customer Discounts.

To qualify for a Referral Reward, the Referee must pay the full advertised price of the tour without applying any discount codes or promotions.

6. Genuine Referrals Only

Referrers are prohibited from posting or advertising their name or referral details online or in any public or private forums with the intent to generate referrals from strangers.

Referrals must be genuine recommendations to friends, family members, or acquaintances who have a personal relationship with the Referrer.

Any referrals that are deemed by East Coast Tours to be generated through public posting, advertising, or any method not involving a genuine personal connection will not be eligible for Referral Rewards.

East Coast Tours reserves the right to investigate and disqualify any referrals that it believes do not comply with these Terms.

7. Redeeming Referral Rewards

Referrers must log in to the Affiliate Account Portal to view and redeem their Referral Rewards.

Referral Rewards can be redeemed as a voucher for future bookings with East Coast Tours or cashed out as a direct payment.

If choosing to cash out, Referrers must provide valid payment details in the Affiliate Account Portal.

East Coast Tours reserves the right to verify Referrer details and eligibility before processing any rewards.

8. Conditions of Referral Rewards

Referral Rewards will only be provided for bookings that are completed and not cancelled.

If a Referee cancels their booking or is refunded, the Referral Reward for that booking will be voided.

East Coast Tours reserves the right to cancel or revoke any Referral Rewards if there is any indication of fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms.

9. Program Limitations

There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer can make; however, each Referee can only be referred once.

The Program cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or referral programs unless explicitly stated by East Coast Tours.

East Coast Tours reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without notice.

10. Privacy

East Coast Tours is committed to protecting your privacy. We will use the information provided by Referrers and Referees solely for the purposes of administering the Program.

By participating in the Program, Referrers and Referees agree to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to the Program

East Coast Tours reserves the right to modify these Terms and the structure of the Program at any time.

Any changes to the Terms will be communicated to Participants via the email address provided at the time of booking or through our website.

Continued participation in the Program after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

East Coast Tours will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the Program, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

East Coast Tours does not warrant that the Program will be uninterrupted or errorfree and is not responsible for any technical issues or failures related to the Program.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which East Coast Tours operates.

Any disputes arising from or related to the Program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
