These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Customers hiring a vehicle with Jucy are responsible for checking the most up-to-date policies with both East Coast Tours and Jucy before hiring, collecting and/or driving a Jucy vehicle. Customers hiring a Jucy vehicle through East Coast Tours are subject to both Jucy and East Coast Tour's policies.

JUCY Stress-free excess reduction of $30 per day reduces the excess to NIL, for all damage to the vehicle excluding single-vehicle rollover, underbody and overhead damage. No security bond is frozen from your credit card on pick up. Please read more about Jucy's excess reduction policies here before you hire your Jucy campervan.
If you choose to not have any excess reduction(Risk Taker), Jucy will pre-authorize (hold) the full amount of the excess (up to $5000) as a bond on the day of pick up and this amount is auto-released between 48 hours to 7 days from the pre-authorization date from our end. However, it may take 7-30 days for the funds to show back up (depending on the bank/card provider).
If you have Stress Free or Stress Free Plus and use a Credit card for the booking, then you have no excess and no security bond. However, if you are using a Debit card, Jucy will hold $300 as a security bond to cover any infringements and/or other charges (your vehicle excess will remain $0). This security bond will be pre-authorised on the debit card at the time of pickup.
For drivers between 18-20, an underage driver surcharge will apply for rentals on cars and will be quoted at the time of booking.

Minimum hire for cars is 1 day and for campers 5 days. Minimum hire periods may increase over peak season and are subject to change without notice based on the season and availability.
Rental days are calculated on a calendar day basis. When calculating the number of days the Vehicle is rented, the day of pick-up is counted as day one of the rental, regardless of pick-up time. The day of the vehicle's return is counted as the final day of the rental regardless of drop-off time.
When you hire your wheels from JUCY, you can either pay a 20% deposit at the time of booking to hold your vehicle and pay the rest on collection or pay in full at the time of booking.
Jucy allows customers the flexibility to pick up and drop off the JUCY cars and campervans at any of 7 locations across Australia. Please see applicable one-way fees below.

Please note, that all one-way hires must be approved by Jucy and are subject to availability.
Jucy and East Coast Tours reserve the right to pass on any charges that may be incurred such as booking fees, transfer fees, local taxes and levies to the customer.
A 2% fee applies for credit and debit cards.

To request a call out with your 24-hour roadside assistance, call Jucy on 1800 150 850, select option 2, and then option 2 again, for assistance.
All Mechanical breakdowns are covered by Jucy's relevant Roadside Assistance program and include the following;

When booking through East Coast Tours, customers are subject to cancellation policies and fees from both Jucy and East Coast Tours/Mr Travel.

A failure to collect your vehicle from the specific depot at the specified time, or a "no show" will result in a forfeit of your ticket and any hire fees/costs.
We strongly recommend you cover yourself with a comprehensive travel insurance policy.

All bookings MUST reconfirm 24-48 hours prior to vehicle collection with Jucy.
