Daily itinerarySpend the next 5 days learning to surf and exploringFor the duration of your surf camp, you'll fall into the easy-going, outdoorsy daily routine at Spot X. Wake to the sounds of the waves and the native birds, then have breakfast and join the daily surf lesson! The lessons start around 7:30am and run for 2-3 hours. After a 12pm lunch the afternoon is free to relax in a hammock or join fun adventures like kayaking or kangaroo-spotting in the wild. Where is Arrawarra?
A hidden gem of the New South Wales coast, Arrawarra is a charming beach town located about 205km south of Byron Bay. The drive from Byron Bay to Arrawarra is about 2 hours, and the drive from Arrawarra to Sydney is about 6.5 hours.
What transport is included?
Bus or shuttle transfers will pick you up in Byron Bay and bring you to Spot X. When the 6-day surf camp is finished, you will get transport down to Sydney. Timetables vary so there is no exact schedule but you can enquire upon booking for more details!
What is the shared accommodation like?
You’ll stay in shared dorm cabins for 2-6 people or shared tipis for 4 people. All bedding is provided, and some cabins have ensuites whereas others have bathroom facilities nearby.
Is private accommodation available?
You can upgrade to a waterfront cabin or a twin/double private room. These cost extra and are subject to availability, so contact us to request a private room!
What amenities are at Spot X?
In addition to the accommodations and toilets, Spot X has laundry, a cooking area, internet access, hammocks, a fire pit, a movie room, a sound system, and a shop selling basic necessities. There is also a pool table, table tennis, and beach volleyball.
How many surf lessons are included?
There is 1 surf lesson per day at Mojo Surf Camp. So on your 6-day, 5-night itinerary, you’ll get 5 surf lessons as the final day has an early departure time.
Do I need any prior surfing experience?
No! This surf camp is suitable for surfers of all skill levels, including those who have never even touched a surfboard before. The talented surf instructors will teach you everything you need to know and help you every step of the way. However, you should have basic swimming skills as surfing is an active water sport.
What meals are included?
The on-site chefs will prepare a buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day during your surf camp experience.
