Welcome to Bali and surfing in CangguThe first stop on your 12-day Bali adventure is Canggu. Home to a vibrant backpacker community and famous beaches like Echo Beach and Batu Balong, there is no better place to get acquainted with Bali. Relax on your first day before meeting your tour group for a sunset drink and a welcome feast. On your second day, learn to ride the waves with a guided surf lesson! Day 3 & 4 |
Beaches and marine life on Nusa PenidaYour next stop is Nusa Penida, one of the most breathtaking islands in Indonesia. Travel from Canggu to Sanur and catch a ferry before settling into your boutique hotel on the island. The rest of the day is dedicated to the island’s most famous sights, including Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, Angel Billabong, and Crystal Bay. On day 2, join an epic and ethical snorkelling tour where you can mingle with marine life such as manta rays and tropical fish. Finish the day at the spectacular Diamond Beach Viewpoint. Day 5 & 6 |
Explore the stunning Gili IslandsCatch a boat up to the gorgeous Gili Islands! You’ll be staying on Gili T, the most lively island of the Gili Archipelago. There are no cars on the island, so spend the day cruising around by bicycle, swimming in the resort pool, and joining a beach cleanup with Gili Eco Trust. Indulge in the nightlife or have an early night because the next day consists of an amazing island tour! Island hop around Gili T and snorkel amongst sea turtles, coral reefs, and underwater statues. Day 7 - 9 |
Experience the wonders of UbudIt's time to head back to the mainland and explore Ubud. This is the cultural centre of Bali, so get ready for some incredible adventures! Your first day in Ubud is free for relaxing and exploring. The next day you’ll get to mingle with monkeys at the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, check out the gorgeous views at the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and immerse yourself in the local culture at a sacred water temple. On the following day, wake up early for a sunrise hike to the top of Mount Batur! During downtime, you can add on yoga classes and massages or explore the temples and attractions of downtown Ubud. Day 10 & 11 |
Escape the crowds in PemuteranHead north from Ubud to the authentic seaside village of Pemuteran. On the way, the group will stop at Banyumala Waterfalls for a taste of the Balinese rainforest scenery, then meet with a local family and learn about their traditional coffee-making methods. After arriving in Pemuteran, rest up for a big day of exploring Bali West National Park! On your final full day, head out to Menjangan Island and spend the day snorkelling in the pristine reefs. You’ll also visit the incredible Biorock Project – the largest coral planting project in the world! StayTwin/Double Rooms at Rich Farmer Eco Lodge (or similar) |

Day 12 |
Return to CangguOn day 12 you’ll check out of your Pemuteran Eco Lodge and begin the return journey to Canggu. You’ll arrive in Canggu around 1pm, and then it’s time to farewell your new friends and continue your travels! |

Yes, travel insurance is compulsory for all One Life Adventures tours. You must book this on your own before the tour departs.
Accommodation varies throughout the tour, but the standard setup is twin share rooms for 2 people. If you’re a solo traveller, you’ll be paired with someone of the same gender. You can also upgrade to have your own room for the tour (select this option at checkout).
You’ll be staying in quirky hotels, mountain lodges, boutique accommodations with infinity pools, and more!
Throughout your 12-day tour, 11 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner are included. Other meals are at your own expense. Dietary restrictions can be catered for if you let us know in advance!
Try to pack as light as possible! We are moving around every few days, so the lighter your bags, the better. A backpack or small suitcase is ideal.
Bali has a tropical climate, so pack accordingly and focus on comfortable layers! Sun protection, swimwear, sunglasses, and a camera are essential. You will also visit a temple in Ubud where your shoulders and chest should be covered (a sarong will be provided).
Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar (DPS).
All transport is included in the tour! You will travel around Bali in local vans, buses, private boats and more.
The tour begins in Canggu on day 1. If you are arriving on day 1, you will be collected from the airport! Please send your arrival details to enquiries@onelifeadventures.com.au ahead of time. If you arriving before day 1, you'll have to organise your own transport to Canggu.
On day 12, you'll be dropped off in Canggu around 1pm. You can organise your own onward flights or accommodations from there, but please leave plenty of time before your next travel plans in case of any delays. Please don’t book flights for any earlier than 6pm.
Though the majority of the trip is paid for upon booking, you’ll want a bit of spending money for meals, activities, and souvenirs. You’ll receive a spending guide in your welcome pack, but $30-40 AUD should be plenty for one person. There will be ATMs where you can get cash out, and some places in Bali accept card as well.
